Art is an act of expressing feelings, thoughts, and observations involving creative imagination.

There is an increasing amount of scientific evidence that proves art enhances our brain function. Research has proven that arts develop neural systems that produce a broad spectrum of benefits ranging from fine motor skills to creativity and improved emotional balance.

ART- A Great Mood Booster

A number of studies have shown that colouring inside a shape — specifically a pre-drawn geometric mandala design — is more effective in boosting mood and significantly reduces stress. Doing art has an impact on brain wave patterns and emotions, the nervous system, and can actually raise serotonin level. Studies also show that creating art stimulates the release of dopamine. Increased levels of this feel-good neurotransmitter can be very helpful if you are battling anxiety or depression.
